Wild Gift is an independent PR operation based in Naarm/Melbourne, working primarily with emerging and independent Australian artists across a broad range of genres, including indie, alternative, rock, punk, shoegaze, dream pop, folk, country, electronic, neo-classical and experimental music. Run by Ed Acheson, Wild Gift specialises in tailored publicity campaigns that help artists build their profile, connect with new audiences and generate meaningful media coverage. Working across print and online publications, radio, playlists, podcasts and other relevant media, the focus is on developing campaigns that suit each artist’s music, goals and stage of their career. Wild Gift works with a select number of artists, prioritising the quality of the music and the artist’s commitment to their project. Projects are structured on a per-release basis, with standalone campaigns available in a range of packages depending on the timeframe and scope of the release. Multi-release campaigns can also be arranged, with discounted rates available for artists undertaking multiple campaigns. Each project is approached individually, with a focus on building genuine media relationships and creating opportunities that support an artist’s longer-term development.
