Mark Howard

Mark Howard is a Phillip Island/Millowl based singer/songwriter, recording artist and seasoned live performer whose music moves between cinematic folk, alt-rock and country. With a road-worn voice, atmospheric guitar and emotionally charged storytelling, his songs explore desire, loss, love, guilt and the darker corners of human experience.

An independent artist with stages in 46 countries behind him, Mark has toured extensively throughout Australia, as well as Japan, New Zealand and the UK. His releases have earned four #1 AMRAP Regional Chart singles, regular ABC Radio airplay and six AIR Award nominations for his second album, *Deep Dark Blue*.

Audiences can expect an intimate and engaging performance that moves from pin-drop acoustic ballads and intricate storytelling to gritty, high-energy rock, with plenty of warmth, humour and connection along the way. Mark performs solo acoustic or with his band, The Saltwater Preachers.
