About
Jon Davis is a solo acoustic performer with decades of pub and club experience both internationally and across Australia, playing a set built on The Eagles, The Highwaymen, the Traveling Wilburys, Paul Kelly, Redgum, The Black Sorrows and Cold Chisel.
He is also a national award-winning songwriter. In 2023 the Australian Songwriters' Association gave him the Rudy Brandsma Award for Songwriting Excellence. His single "I Don't Really Mind" reached #1 on the Australian Country Thunder Top 30 in 2024. He records in Nashville with The Kenny Rogers Band, the actual musicians who backed Kenny Rogers for years.
Based in Townsville, Jon tours regional and outback Australia and is fully self-contained with his own PA. Reliable, easy to deal with, ready to play.
